Justice has always evoked ideas of equality, of proportion of compensation. In short, Justice is another name of liberty, equality and fraternity.

Bhakti in religion may be a road to the salvation of the soul. But in politics, Bhakti or hero-worship is a sure road to degradation and to eventual dictatorship.

Being grateful has limitations, No man can be greatful at the cost of his dignity, No woman at the cost of her chastity and No country at the cost of its freedom.

Be moderate in your demands, just in your criticism, accurate in your facts, logical in your conclusions, and you can be sure that any propositions you make to our rulers will be considered by our strong and enlightened Governement.

Let us never forget that we are all children of our motherland. Indeed, I have never worked in any other spirit than that of an Indian who owes devotion to his nation and his fellow citizens.

If I die in this struggle for freedom, I am sure I will be born again and again in this great country. I shall live for my country, dream for her freedom and try with all my strength to fulfil the dreams.

Swarajya is my birthright and I shall have it.

I declare that every blow struck at me will prove to be the final nail in the coffin of British rule in India.

We cannot afford to be divided or else in the future, there may emerge one society of Hindus and a different of some other religion. As we stand on a common platform - we have all agreed to bury our social and religious differences.

Those who have been fighting for India's freedom now have a clearer picture. A national consensus is emerging; even though divided by states, a sense of unity is bringing them closer. Caste and religious distinctions are beginning to dissolve in the face of the common goal of freedom. A sense of nationalism and its pride has spread all over the country.
